A sweet desert which is easy to make, and serves 2 people. We will need to have
the next ingredients:
- 4 fresh peaches
- 125 grams caster sugar
- 3 table spoons sweet Single Malt Whisky
- water
Pour water enough water in a pan to cover 4 peaches. Bring the water close
to boiling point, and put the peaches in for 5 minutes. Remove the peaches with
a spoon, and gently remove the skin.
Add the caster sugar into the water, and bring it to the boil. Let it boil until
the liquid starts to thicken a bit. Add the peaches, and poach them for 15 minutes,
turning them around carefully with a spoon regularly.
Remove the peaches, and add the Whisky. Boil on a higher fire for about 5 minutes.
It should have the consistency of syrup now.
Put the peaches in a bowl and pour in the syrup. Chill before serving.
