For 4 persons we will need to have the next ingredients:
- 4 large beef steaks
- 50 gr butter
- 300 g mushrooms
- 2 onions
- 3 tablespoons malt whiksy (preferably a smokey one (read: Islay!))
- 2 teaspoons flower
- 125 ml chickenbouillon
- salt and pepper
Heat the butter in a large frying-pan and fry the onions. Add the mushrooms
after a short while, and fry them light brown. Then add the steaks and fry them
about 3 minutes. Add the whisky while firmly shaking the pan side to side. Watch
out for the flames as the whisky fumes burn! Then remove the steaks and keep
them warm. Add the flower and mix it with the butter in the pan. Add the chicken
bouillon and stir until the sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste and
pour the sauce over the steaks and serve.
